The National: Maradona accepts coaching role at Dubai club Al Wasl
“Al Wasl Sports Club is proud to announce the appointment of Diego Armando Maradona as head coach of Al Wasl Football Club, in a momentous development that will see the football legend lead the team for the next two seasons,” read a club statement.
We haven’t reviewed the crests of Dubai’s clubs yet, but Al-Wasl’s is average at best, and not one we’re ever likely to see in an FC Shirts United tournament.
